師資介紹

Daisuke Nagatomo is a Japan-born designer and educator. He has won several international design awards, including Design of the Year (A’Design Award), Best of Golden Pin (Taiwan), and also 40 Under 40 from Perspective Magazine (Hong Kong). He has also been serving as Jury panel for A’Design Award for the past 4 years. Daisuke Nagatomo graduated from Meiji University in Tokyo and decided to pursue his passion for architecture at Columbia University, where he received a master’s degree in advanced architectural design. Nagatomo began his career in the metropolitan New York area with architecture firms, including TEN Arquitectos and Design Office for Research and Architecture. He was the invited researcher for the FabLab House project at IaaC, Barcelona from 2009 to 2010 where he holds a research diploma. Nagatomo is currently the full-time assistant professor of the National Taiwan Normal University and has taught several schools including Pratt Institute (New York), Tokyo Denki University, Chung Yuan Christian University, and National Chiao Tung University.
